Three Capes Track
Traversing 46-kilometres in Tasmania’s remote southeastern corner, the Three Capes Track is the most recently established multi-day walking trail on the island, which takes in some of the region’s most spectacular coastal scenery and tall eucalyptus forests.
It is normally hiked over 4 days/3 nights, with well-built timber, stone and gravel tracks designed to make it accessible for walkers of all experience levels, and comfortable overnight accommodation is available in eco-sensitive cabins at Surveyors, Munro and Retakunna.
The walk begins at the Port Arthur Historic Site, before a picturesque boat cruise over to Denman’s Cove at the start of the trail itself.
